UVC BEACH PROGRAM

Unlike the 6 person game, you touch the ball in every rally, and with just two of you covering the court, you learn to read and anticipate much better. GIRLS DATES: PRACTICES BEGIN MAY 15TH AND THE SEASON CONCLUDES ON AUGUST 16TH

PRACTICES:

PRACTICE LOCATION: All practices will take place at Joust Beach Volleyball (661 Pleasant St, Norwood, MA 02062)

PRACTICE TIMES: Practices will take place on Mondays & Wednesdays between 4-8:30PM

PRACTICE OVERVIEW: Practices will be led by Beach Director, Emma Smallcomb, and will include beach strategy training to help prepare players for their tournaments. In addition, practices will incorporate skills based training which will translate to and help improve athlete's indoor play.

COACHING: 10 players will train on each court and every athlete will experience a 10:1 coach to player ratio
TOURNAMENTS:

1 REGIONAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT

UVC will participate in a juniors qualifying tournament with AVP bids to top finishing teams.

INDIVIDUAL SIGN UP: Players are responsible for signing their team up for additional tournaments

The Beach Director will educate players and families on how to sign up for tournaments through an informational email that will be sent out at the beginning of the season.
