Scott Grandpre

Founder

Coach Grandpre is recognized as one of the most influential volleyball coaches in the New England area. He wears a number of hats including Head Volleyball Coach at Simmons University, Director of New England AAU Volleyball, and Director of the Nike Volleyball Camps at Simmons University. Coach Grandpre has played and coached Division 1 Volleyball. He is in charge of strategically developing the skills portion of all of our programs and serves as a master coach for most practices during the season.

Caitlyn Vann

Club Director

Girls 15-18s Training Director

Caitlyn is the Club Director of UVC as well as the Head Coach for the 18 National Girls Team. She oversees all aspects of UVC and is the point of contact for general club questions. 

 

Caitlyn is a former Division I libero and professional volleyball player with over 11 years coaching experience. She won 4 State Championships and a National Championship at the high school level, was an All-American OH and Hall of Fame Athlete, played on the USAV Youth & Junior National Team, received a full-ride scholarship as a libero at the University of Missouri, played professionally overseas, and coached at the Division I level at DePaul University and Cal Berkeley. Prior to joining UVC she coached in St. Louis, MO where she also ran a nonprofit that provided free after-school volleyball training for low income girls.

Dave Parnell

Girls 12's-14s Training Director

Dave will serve as the U12-U14 Girls Training Director as well as the Head Coach for our 13 National Team. Dave is the point of contact for all 12's-14's Girls teams.  

Dave recently moved from Portland, Oregon and previously coached for Athena Volleyball Academy where he was the 12 Gold Head Coach and U12 Training Director.  In addition to Dave’s club experience, he also coached at the high school level as both a JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at a state championship program. Dave brings over 20 years of coaching experience with him to UVC. During his time in Oregon, his teams were ranked in the top 100 Nationally. Most recently, his 12 Gold teams finished 6th place finish at Colorado Crossroad National qualifier in 2017, finished #1 in the CEVA Region in 2018 and in the top 5 regionally in 2019.
